Due to the increase in political, social and economic relations between the two countries of Iran and Sultanate of Oman, providing an educational complex for Iranian immigrant students educating in the Persian language and keeping Iranian culture alive in Muscat, has been considered. Iranian school cultural complex in Sultanate of Oman, in Muscat suburbs, is the Econtext company’s design order, focusing on preserving Iranian identity while having a mutual interaction with Omani’s architectural atmosphere, yet having a pioneer and contemporary look. We have recreated Iranian architecture symbols like central yard, linear Iranian garden and introverted mass-space in the project.

The project site is about 10000 square meters, including a school containing all educational levels from kindergarten to pre-university. Next to the school there is a joint courtyard which is based upon the cultural building. After this public space, a temporary residency (accommodation) containing 26 rooms and a residential complex of 26 apartments is considered which is by priority, occupied by teachers and school staff.
